This picture represented things in the past because Uncle Sam was trying to get people to join the army, but it also can represent today’s army. More people want to join the army and be heroes for our country.
I think a lot of people in America
MTV is a channel that has reality shows and music videos. People want to believe they can be on those shows and want to hear the latest music.
Facebook. This is a huge social network that teenagers and some adults are always on. They can post pictures and what they're doing, so others can see about them.
Facebook has become a HUGE part of American culture. I love how you used the Uncle Sam picture, because the army has the biggest impact on the U.S. and whoever joins the army becomes a legacy of America. Good Post! :)
ReplyDeleteUncle Sam is an interesting choice, especially if you look at who the military targets to recruit (those in impoverished areas, usually minorities). The military is not on the radar of the college bound, and if it is, it's for a military academies, not boot camp. The military can also sybolize hope for a person if they need a purpose in life too.
